SEPULTURA Guitarist Joins MACHINE HEAD Onstage At Dubai's DESERT ROCK Festival

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser joined MACHINE HEAD onstage at the Desert Rock 2005 festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Friday (March 25) for a special cover version of METALLICA's "Creeping Death".

According to Phride.com, "The performance had a huge response from the crowd," and "a lot of people in Dubai called it a historic moment in metal. [MACHINE HEAD frontman] Robb Flynn introduced the collaboration on the song as a surprise for the Dubai crowd because it was the first time both SEPULTURA and MACHINE HEAD played that city."

MACHINE HEAD and SEPULTURA's appearance at the Desert Rock 2005 festival marked the first time international metal bands ever performed in the region. The two groups reportedly had the hugest response from the crowd at the event, which included additional performances from THE DARKNESS (festival headliners) and WITHIN TEMPTATION.
